Meet Mrs. Rebecca Dwello.
Mrs. Dwello is teaching 6th Grade Social Studies, 7th Grade World Geography, 8th Grade US History I, 9th Grade World History, 11th Grade US History II, and 12th Grade US Government at Meadows Valley School this year. She grew up a preacher’s kid and lived in various locations in the Northwest. Her parents were both raised in Wyoming so she considered it “home”. She graduated from high school in Libby, Montana and attended Northwest Nazarene College (now NNU). She finished her education at Western Governors University and most of her additional certification and endorsements have been through the University of Idaho.

 

Mrs. Dwello’s husband Kurt is a 6th grade math and science teacher at Payette Lakes Middle School in McCall. She has three grown children. Bethany is a nursing Instructor at Jamestown College, in Jamestown, North Dakota. Zach is a 6th grade teacher at Nampa Christian, in Nampa, Idaho. Katie is a graduate student at Montana State University and is currently student teaching in Wyoming for the Windriver School District. She has three grandchildren: Talleena and Killian McCall and Maddy Mello.


Mrs. Dwello likes to travel and has even spent a summer living in Central America where she attended Spanish school. Besides spending time her family, she likes to ski, hike, and ride horses. Her husband is an avid hunter and fisherman, so she packs in with him and tends the camp. She finds it a great opportunity to spend time with a good book! Her favorite books are Little Britches by Ralph Moody, Mrs. Mike by Benedict and Nancy Mars Freedman. Her all-time favorite author is Louis L'Amour.
