Meet Mr. Ben Johnson…
Mr. Johnson will be teaching Industrial Technology Shop class to
junior high and high school students. Mr. Johnson grew up in Livingston, Montana. He moved to Burlington,
Iowa in the eighth grade and graduated from Burlington Community High School in 1990. Mr. Johnson enjoyed playing football
and basketball for the greyhounds.
After
graduation he returned to Montana and spent sixteen years in the work force before returning to college in 2006 to pursue
his dream of being a shop teacher. Mr. Johnson attended the University of Montana Western in Dillon, Montana and earned a
Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology/secondary education. He comes to us from Montana and
feels right at home in New Meadows. He and his wife Nancy enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing, staying healthy, and spending
time on the lake jet skiing. He has three daughters Anna, Alexis, Madison and a son Dylan. He has three step sons Beau, Scott,
and Chris, and a new granddaughter Haylee Ann.
