Mrs. Januik's Class Descriptions:


Personal & Family Finance Students will learn how to shape their own financial lives, they will develop financial skills for personal and family well-being; management of resources, financial services, and responsibilities; responsible use of credit, consumer decisions, and consumer rights and responsibilities.  Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) leadership activities will be an integral part of this course.

 

8th Grade Young Living is a course designed for young adolescents.  The emphasis of the course will be to develop knowledge and skills in the areas of personal development, careers, clothing, family relationships, personal finances, personal living space, foods, and wellness.  FCCLA activities will be integrated into this course.

 

Teen Living addresses issues of adolescents and their relationships involving family, school, and community.  The emphasis of this course is to build on skills in the areas of personal development, relationships, human and family development, clothing, resource management, personal living space, nutrition and wellness, career choices and leadership skills.  Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) activities will be integrated into this course.
