My name is Meghan Howard, and this is my 7th year teaching 6th grade, and my 9th year teaching in New Meadows.
I am originally from Boise and received my B.A. in Elementary Education from The College of Idaho in 1993. After living
in Portland, OR and Evansville, IN, I moved to Andros Island in the Bahamas to teach at an educational field station for one
year.
Upon my return to Idaho I earned my teaching endorsement in Natural Sciences, and then spent a year
teaching at Eagle Academy. After some contract teaching and traveling, we moved to McCall in 2002. Before coming
to Meadows Valley, I taught snowboarding at Brundage Mountain and worked for the Wildlife Department in Council on the Payette
National Forest.
In my spare(?) time I like to run, mountain bike, snowboard, and read! I love living in
the mountains, and consider myself fortunate to live, work, and play in such a beautiful area.
